The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused people stress all across the country, both professionally and personally, and we want to offer a helping hand to those who need it the most. During this difficult period of ever-changing uncertainty, it’s vital that we all pull together as a community and provide help wherever we can; it just might be the only way we’ll get through it.
In light of this, we will be extending Thrift Energy’s auto service to the emergency services for as long as they’re in need of it. While many of us are taking shelter in the comfort of our own homes, it’s our beloved NHS staff, police force and fire service heroes that are fighting on the frontline, using their courage and their skills to keep this country standing.
If you are one of these incredible people, or if you know somebody who is, please spread the word that we are on hand to replace any faulty consumables on emergency vehicles, including: light bulbs, wipers, oil and anti-freeze top ups, and general safety checks. We understand that this is just a small gesture, but we really hope that it’ll help ease the unbearable pressure we can only imagine that you are under.
We’re offering this service to those in need in Newcastle, Durham, Washington and Sunderland, and with a 24-hour emergency call out. If you do find your vehicle is in need of Thrift Energy’s help, you can call our Depot Manager, Richard, on 07926 735 191.
In this current climate, it’s important that everyone steps up to support friends, colleagues and citizens in these challenging times. Please help us to share this message, and remember to try and do what you can to help someone else in need.
Look after yourselves and your loved ones.
